Omnie Vox acts as a visible, always-available public safety assistant, enabling citizens and visitors to quickly report concerns, request assistance, and receive trusted information.
In busy urban environments, members of the public often encounter situations where they need help, guidance, or a way to report a concern. However, locating the right authority or knowing who to contact can be confusing, especially for visitors or those unfamiliar with the local area.
Traditional reporting channels, such as phone lines or apps, require prior knowledge, downloads, or long wait times. As a result, minor safety concerns often go unreported, leaving city authorities with limited real-time visibility of issues happening on the street. This lack of accessible support can reduce public confidence, while city teams struggle to respond quickly to incidents or identify emerging safety patterns.

Omnie Vox places a trusted digital safety point directly in the urban environment. Citizens and visitors can instantly speak with the system to report concerns, request assistance, or receive guidance on nearby services in their preferred language. The platform can connect users to local authorities or safety teams when necessary, while also capturing incident reports and interaction data in the Vox Net management platform. This allows city teams to monitor trends, respond more quickly, and deploy resources more effectively.
By combining visibility, accessibility, and intelligent reporting, Omnie Vox strengthens community safety while helping cities build a more responsive and connected public environment.

Available 24/7 and speaking over 80 languages, Omnie Vox provides instant wayfinding and real-time updates on local services, transforming static spaces into interactive hubs that drive footfall and engagement.

A community safety kit from Omnie Vox fits inside the information totems, bus shelters and safety signage already on the street. Instead of a phone number on a poster, the sign itself becomes a reporting point: press the button, say what is happening, and be heard, in your own language, by an assistant that knows exactly where you are.
No phone, no reading, no screen. Reports and sensitive requests are routed instantly to the right team through Vox Net, and live safety information can be pushed to every connected sign during an incident. A calm, patient voice suits people who would find a phone call hard.
A council is refreshing the information totems in its night-time economy area. Vox Kit is fitted behind each totem during the works. At 1am a young woman who does not want to make a call presses the button, says quietly that someone is following her, and is told the taxi marshal is forty metres to her left while the safety team is alerted. Earlier the same totem took a report of a broken streetlight.
Report a concern or ask for help in any of over 80 languages and be understood first time.

Spoken, multilingual signage is a practical, documentable way to meet accessibility obligations, with Vox Net recording every interaction as evidence.

The British Standard for accessible built environments asks for wayfinding information in more than one format, including audible. Spoken signage complements the tactile, Braille and high-contrast signs the standard already recommends.
Section 149 of the Equality Act requires the NHS, universities, councils and transport authorities to actively advance equality and evidence it. Vox Net analytics give equality impact assessments and annual reports a measurable intervention to cite.
Mandatory for NHS and adult social care providers in England (DCB 1605), and monitored by the CQC. Requires information in formats people can understand, including audible and other-language formats. Omnie Vox meets this at scale, with an audit trail.
Part M of the Building Regulations requires reasonable provision for everyone to access and use a building, citing BS 8300 as its technical reference. Specifying Omnie Vox at design stage puts audible wayfinding in the inclusive-design package before sign-off.
Vox App and the Vox Net control panel are keyboard operable, screen-reader friendly and high contrast, meeting the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018 and ready for the European Accessibility Act.
