Once connected to the internet, your device can be configured through the VOX NET web-based control panel at https://portal.omnie.ai.
Each VOX KIT appears as a record within VOX NET control panel. From the homepage, you can:
Inside each device record, you can configure Instructions, voice and training data.
A free-text field used to provide high-level behavioural guidance. This defines the tone of voice, the role (e.g. receptionist, wayfinding assistant, retail advisor), the behavioural constraints and the brand personality
Example — “You are a helpful assistant located in a university entrance. Keep responses concise and guide users clearly.”
The voice can be configured to ensure alignment with brand identity and environment (formal, friendly, energetic, etc.). You can select a voice profile, set the speed and enter a prompt to refine speech characteristics.
Documents and web pages can be added to train the chatbot and used to generate responses.
If the system cannot find relevant information, it can be instructed to provide fallback messaging in the instructions field. Example — “I’m sorry, I don’t know the answer to that”
The Image Scan feature generates a set of route instructions from a defined start position to each marked location on a floor plan or city map.
Placeholders contain information that can be referenced in the Prompt field using double braces {{example}}. This allows dynamic injection of route instructions, and other common sets of data, into conversational responses.
Copy the placeholder name and add to the required location in the prompt field.
