Network Connection

This section explains how to power on your Omnie Vox device and connect it to your local network for the first time.

Power Up

Connect the power cable to a mains supply and press the on button. Wait 30 seconds for start up.

Connect to Access Point

On a mobile device or laptop connect to the WiFi network ‘OmnieVoxSetup’ using password ‘omnievox’

Select The Network

Open the webpage http://10.42.0.1, select the required network and add the password.

Connection Confirmation

The device will automatically connect to the network. You will receive an double flash confirmation. A short solid light means failed to connect.

Configure

Go to https://portal.omnie.ai to configure your Omnie Vox device

Changing network

To disconnect from a network and connect to a new one, do the following:

  • Turn the device off.
  • Turn on and press and hold the talk button until you see a flashing light.
  • Release the button and press again once with 5 seconds.
  • You will see a sold green light which means the device is disconnected.
  • Follow 2–5 above to connect to a new network.
